Oura Ring Black Friday 2026: Should You Wait, or Buy Now?

Quick answer: Don't wait for November on the Oura Ring 4. Oura's store already sells it from $244.30 (October 2, 2026), below its $249 Black Friday 2025 price. The Oura Ring 5 has no announced Black Friday deal; a member's 10% referral link ($359.10 for Silver or Black) is the sure thing, and verified healthcare workers get 30% off through November 20.^{1, 2, 3, 4}

Most of what ranks for this search is last year's deal post about a ring that's now a generation old. This year the Ring 4 is already near its Black Friday price, and the Ring 5, Oura's current ring since June 4, hasn't had a public sale.^{5, 6} So the real question is whether waiting eight more weeks gets you anything. Not sure the Ring 5 is worth it at any price? Our Oura Ring 5 review has the Ring 4 comparison and the three-year cost.

Does the Oura Ring Go on Sale for Black Friday?

Yes, in each of the last two years, though not always on the newest ring: the 2024 sale covered the older Gen3 while the six-week-old Ring 4 stayed at full price, and in 2025 the Ring 4 got about 30% off select finishes through Cyber Monday, December 1.^{10, 11, 12, 13}

Oura Black Friday price history, 2024 to 2026

Past prices are what each outlet reported on the date shown, not current offers.^{1, 2, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18}

Put those rows together and the Ring 4 is already at its Black Friday level. Last November's record low was $249. Oura's store listed the same ring at $244.30 in late June 2026, and again when we checked on October 1 and 2.^{1, 6, 18} The only lower price we found was a Prime-member deal at Amazon during Prime Day, reported by Mashable and NBC Select, with prices varying by size.^{17, 18}

Will the Oura Ring 5 Be Discounted for Black Friday 2026?

Maybe a little, but don't plan around a big cut. In June, mindbodygreen reported that Oura had no plans to discount the Ring 5 beyond the 10% available through friends-and-family programs and key partners.¹⁹ The Ring 4 sat out its first Black Friday, too.^{11, 12}

There is one crack in that wall. From August 18 through November 20, 2026, healthcare workers who verify through ID.me can get 30% off the Ring 5, an offer that ends a week before Black Friday.⁴ Whether Oura does that for everyone on November 27 is anyone's guess. If it does, Oura's terms say a site-wide Black Friday or Cyber Monday price replaces other discounts when it's better; the two don't stack.⁴

Should You Buy an Oura Ring Now or Wait for Black Friday?

Buy the Oura Ring 4 now if it's at or under last Black Friday's price for your finish: $249 for Silver or Black, $299 for Stealth or Brushed Silver, $349 for Gold or Rose Gold. Oura's store beats all three today.^{1, 2, 11} Buy the Oura Ring 5 whenever you can get at least 10% off. Here's the math.

• Ring 4: waiting buys you little. The only lower Ring 4 price reported this year was Amazon's Prime-only deal during June's Prime Day (see the price history table).^{17, 18} Amazon's next Prime-only sale, Prime Big Deal Days, runs October 6–7, so Prime members can check the Ring 4 listing then; nothing says that deal comes back.²⁰ If Black Friday only matches last year's prices, you waited for nothing.
• Ring 5: 10% is on the table today. A current member's referral link takes 10% off any Ring 5 on Oura's store, which makes Silver or Black $359.10. Upgrading? Oura has no trade-ins, but members can use their own link.³ Hold out only if you'd skip the ring at $359.
• Healthcare workers: buy by November 20. 30% off puts the Ring 5 at $279.30 in Silver or Black. It's the deepest Ring 5 discount we've found.⁴

Buying early from Oura's store? Its support page allows returns for any reason within 30 days of receiving the order, once per item, minus shipping; the store page says 30 days of purchase.^{1, 21} To be covered under either reading, order on or after October 31: the window then still runs through Cyber Monday, November 30. We found no price-adjustment policy on Oura's support site, so returning and re-buying is your only cushion.

Ring 5 vs Ring 4: buy now or wait

Oura says discounts can't be combined, so don't expect a referral or ID.me code to stack on a sale price.^{1, 3, 4, 19} The Ring 4 is 7.9 mm wide and comes in sizes 4 to 15; the Ring 5 is 6.09 mm wide, sizes 6 to 13.^{22, 23}

Is the Oura Ring Cheaper on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

Neither, going by last year: Oura's 2025 sale price didn't change between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Esquire and Mashable had the Ring 4 deals live on November 21, a week before Black Friday, and TechRadar found the same prices at Amazon on Cyber Monday, December 1 (see the price history table).^{2, 14, 15}

For 2026, Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 26, so Black Friday is November 27 and Cyber Monday is November 30. Last year's deals showed up a week early, so start checking around November 20.

What Is the Cheapest Way to Buy an Oura Ring?

The cheapest new Oura ring right now is a Ring 4 from Oura's store at $244.30, minus the up-to-$200 American Express Platinum credit if you already carry that card: $44.30 before tax.^{1, 6, 24} Without that card, the other routes take 10% to 30% off, and almost all of them only work on Oura's own site.

• Amex Platinum. Enrolled U.S. Platinum Card members get up to $200 in statement credits each calendar year for an Oura Ring bought at ouraring.com.²⁴ It stacked with Oura's sale last Black Friday, which is how a $249 ring came out to $49.¹³ The credit resets January 1, so use your 2026 one by December 31. Don't open the card just for this.
• ID.me, GovX and lululemon. Students, educators, first responders and healthcare workers who verify with ID.me get 10% off the Ring 4 and Ring 4 Ceramic, US only, and healthcare workers get 30% off the Ring 5 through November 20, 2026. Military and some government workers get a GovX discount, and lululemon members get tiered discounts; Oura doesn't publish those amounts, and its partner discounts apply only to the Ring 4 unless it says otherwise.⁴
• Refer a Friend. 10% off a Ring 5 or Ring 4 on Oura's online store through a current member's link. Each member can share it with up to 10 people, and can use it themselves.³
• HSA or FSA money. Oura's store takes HSA and FSA cards for the ring, membership, chargers, shipping and tax, though some plans still want a letter of medical necessity.^{9, 25} It's not a discount, but pre-tax money saves your tax rate, and FSA balances often expire at year end. Our HSA and FSA guide for smart rings and trackers covers the paperwork.
• Certified refurbished. Oura says refurbished rings from retailers such as Best Buy carry a 90-day limited warranty, against one year on a new ring from its store.^{1, 26} At $244.30 for a new Ring 4, a refurb has to be much cheaper to be worth it.
• Costco. Costco started selling a Ring 4 bundle with a spare charger in March 2025.²⁷ That page returned an error on October 2, 2026; we couldn't confirm a current listing.

Oura's codes don't stack with each other or with a sale; the Amex credit is the exception because it comes from the card company after you pay.^{3, 4, 13}

What Does an Oura Ring Really Cost With the Membership?

Over three years, the membership costs close to what a discounted ring does: $69.99 a year or $5.99 a month in the US, after one included month. Without it, the app shows little more than your three daily scores, so we count it as part of the price.⁹

How we calculated it: ring price plus $69.99 a year, first paid when the included month ends, so three payments by the end of year three. Paying monthly lands within a dollar (35 × $5.99 = $209.65). Tax, spare chargers and extended warranties not included.

That's why a $20 or $30 Black Friday cut matters less than it looks: it's under half a year of membership. Weighing a band with no required subscription too? Our Fitbit Air vs Oura Ring 5 comparison runs the same three-year math for both.

How Do You Get Your Oura Ring 5 Size Right Before Black Friday?

If you're buying on Amazon, order the sizing kit now, not on Black Friday; on Oura's own store, you can pick Size Later instead. The Ring 5 comes in whole sizes 6 to 13 only, and Oura says its sizes differ slightly from standard US ring sizes and from the Ring 4, so your old Oura size isn't a safe guess. Oura's advice: wear the sizer for 24 hours, including a night, and take the smaller size if you're between two.^{21, 23}

Size Later sends a free sizing kit first and ships the ring once you confirm your size, so you can lock in a sale price now and size afterward. On Amazon you pick a size at checkout, so doing the kit in October turns the deal day into one click. Ring 4 buyers need the Ring 4 kit, which runs from 4 to 15.²³ More in our Oura Ring 5 sizing guide.

Why Is Everyone Getting Rid of Their Oura Ring?

Not everyone is, but the owners who quit give the same few reasons: the membership, batteries that fade after 12 to 24 months, and a ring that stops fitting after weight loss or gets in the way when they lift.^{28, 29} The 2026 lawsuit over Oura's sleep-tracking accuracy claims is worth knowing about too, though in the owner threads we read it came up only in passing, not as a reason to quit.

That case, Surber v. Oura (No. 3:26-cv-08686, N.D. Cal.), was filed on August 20, 2026 as a proposed class action. Oura disputes the claims and moved to compel arbitration on September 10; there was no ruling on that motion or on class certification as of October 2, 2026.^{30, 31} More on why people leave, and where they go, in our Fitbit Air vs Oura Ring 5 comparison.

Which Smart Rings Don't Need a Membership?

If $69.99 a year is the deal-breaker, look at rings that don't require one. The RingConn Gen 3, Samsung Galaxy Ring and Amazfit Helio Ring all track sleep without a required subscription, and our best smart rings with no subscription ranks them.
