Oura Ring 5 Review: Is It Worth It, and Should Ring 4 Owners Upgrade?

We haven't worn an Oura Ring 5 ourselves: this review pulls together Oura's store and support pages, eight published reviews by people who did wear one, peer-reviewed sleep studies and owner threads on r/ouraring, checked October 2 and 3, 2026.

Quick answer: The Oura Ring 5 is worth buying if you want sleep tracking without a watch and you'll keep paying Oura's $69.99-a-year membership; a Silver or Black ring comes to about $609 over three years. It's a 40% smaller Ring 4 with the same app, so skip it if you own a Ring 4, want workout tracking, or wear a size outside 6 to 13.1, 2, 3, 4

Search for this ring and most of what comes back is Reddit threads, TikToks and month-long YouTube diaries. The professional reviews agree on more than you'd expect: the Ring 5 is far more comfortable than the Ring 4, the battery is a little better, and not much else changed. So there are really two questions here. Is any Oura worth a membership you pay for as long as you wear it? And should someone with a perfectly good Ring 4 spend $399 again for a thinner band?

The Verdict

Buy the Oura Ring 5 if you want round-the-clock sleep, recovery and cycle tracking in something that looks like a plain band, you'd rather not sleep in a watch, your finger lands between sizes 6 and 13, and $69.99 a year doesn't bother you.

Skip it if you already own a working Ring 4 (same app, same features), you want live heart rate from the ring itself, maps or training load during workouts, you won't pay for the membership (without it the app shows three daily scores), or you need a size 4, 5, 14 or 15 (the Ring 4 still comes in those).2, 4, 5

Oura Ring 5 vs Oura Ring 4: What Actually Changed?

Mostly the size. The Oura Ring 5 is 6.09 mm wide and 2.28 mm thick against 7.9 mm and about 2.88 mm for the Ring 4, weighs from 2 grams instead of 3.3 to 5.2, and claims 6 to 9 days of battery instead of 5 to 8. With a membership, both rings get the same features.4, 6, 7

Dimensions, sensors, storage and sizes are from Oura's support and store pages; the Ring 4's 18 signal pathways come from DC Rainmaker's and CNET's comparisons, since Oura's Ring 5 pages give only the new figure. Prices come from Oura's own store.1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

Two rows get less attention than they should. The Ring 5 holds up to three days of data before it has to sync with your phone, down from a week on the Ring 4, so if you ever leave your phone at home for a long weekend, open the app before you go.4 And the sensor domes now stand 0.7 mm proud of the band instead of 0.3 mm. Plenty of owners say the Ring 5 fits snugger than a Ring 4 of the same number, and one r/ouraring owner blamed exactly those taller domes.10, 11

Is the Oura Ring 5 more accurate than the Ring 4?

Oura says yes, by its own measures: 12% more accurate overnight HRV than the Ring 4 for the average member, and 19% better workout heart rate accuracy for running, cycling and walking, from brighter LEDs on 12 signal pathways.10 Those are Oura's internal numbers, and we didn't find an independent study of the Ring 5 yet. Wired's reviewer saw resting heart rate, HRV and activity numbers that closely matched the reviewer's own Ring 4, and Ray Maker of DC Rainmaker wrote that a 12% HRV gain is very hard to notice.5, 12

Amazon's Oura listings open on one size and finish (the Ring 5 link below starts on Silver, size 8), so switch to yours on the page.

How Long Does the Oura Ring 5 Battery Last?

About six to eight days on a new ring, depending mostly on its size. Oura claims 6 to 9 days depending on ring size, and The Guardian says the smallest sizes sit at the low end; in published tests, a size 6 lasted about six days, a size 10 six to seven days with daily workouts, and a size 8 just under eight.5, 13, 14, 15

Owner reports on r/ouraring are messier: one early owner never got past about four days on a charge, while a size 11 owner hit day six with more than 40% left.11 Size, settings and workouts move the number more than the box suggests.

One habit matters more than squeezing out an extra day: Oura says to charge to at least 30% before bed. If the battery runs too low overnight, you can still get a bedtime and wake time but no Sleep or Readiness score for that night.13

Will the Oura Ring 5 battery fade like the Ring 4's?

Nobody knows yet, because the Ring 5 has only been shipping since June 4, 2026.18 The Ring 4's record is why people ask. In a long r/ouraring thread comparing the two, Ring 4 owners described rings that dropped to about two days per charge after a year or so; one at 21 months was getting about 2.5 days. Several said Oura sent a replacement after an in-app battery diagnostic, some of them past the one-year warranty, though one owner was turned down.11 Those are anecdotes, and Oura doesn't publish failure rates.

Oura says it rebuilt the Ring 5's battery chemistry and mechanics, which "improved the efficiency, durability and longevity of the battery," and its own battery page is blunt that every rechargeable battery is a consumable that loses capacity over time.4, 13 The Guardian adds that the Ring 5 can't be repaired and its battery can't be replaced, so a worn-out battery means a new ring.15 New rings from Oura's store carry a limited one-year warranty.1 Oura's advice for slowing the wear is to keep the battery between 25% and 80% and not leave the ring on the charger for more than a week.13

Do you need the Oura Ring 5 charging case?

Probably not. The optional Oura Ring 5 Charging Case is a matchbox-size aluminum case that Wired, CNET and Tom's Guide list at $99; Oura's store didn't show a price for it when we checked on October 3. Wired and Tom's Guide say it holds about five full charges, and Oura's store says 10 minutes in the case gives you a full day.6, 12, 16, 17 The standard dock that comes in the box is different from the Ring 4's, and a spare costs $59 on Oura's store.1, 5 If you've lost one, our Oura charger replacement guide covers which charger fits which ring.

What Do Reviewers Say About the Oura Ring 5?

Nearly every review we read puts the Oura Ring 5 at or near the top of the smart ring field, and most of the ones that address upgrading tell Ring 4 owners to wait. The complaints cluster around workouts, the membership and the fact that the ring can't be repaired.

WHAT REVIEWERS PRAISED
  • ✓ Comfort: CNET's reviewer sometimes wears it in place of a wedding band, and NBC Select's mostly forgot it was on
  • ✓ Sleep: Wired called its data some of the most believable from any wearable
  • ✓ Scratch resistance: CNET and Wired both saw far fewer marks than on their Ring 4s
  • ✓ Cycle tracking: one of the best CNET's reviewer has used, wrist or finger
  • ✓ Battery: The Guardian, ZDNET and CNET all got more days per charge than from their Ring 4s
WHAT REVIEWERS KNOCKED
  • ✕ Workouts: "woefully behind even the most basic wearables," per DC Rainmaker
  • ✕ Membership: "Subscription still feels mandatory," per Wired
  • ✕ Can't be repaired: the reason The Guardian docked a star
  • ✕ Symptom Radar: Wired's reviewer got the illness flag about a day after already feeling sick
  • ✕ App: CNET found it too quiet about low battery; DC Rainmaker calls much of it recycled trend charts

Sources for both lists:5, 9, 12, 14, 15, 16, 19

The harshest review comes from Ray Maker at DC Rainmaker, who paid for the ring and the membership out of pocket. Maker's point is that sleep tracking from the big brands is now "mostly a wash," so for anyone who already wears a watch or band there's no reason to add an Oura in 2026; for anyone who doesn't want something on the wrist, Maker calls it really good at what it does.5 CNET lands at the other end: an Editors' Choice for 2026 and "the best smart ring we've tested," though reviewer Vanessa Hand Orellana steers anyone who prefers a chunkier ring toward the cheaper Ring 4.9 The Guardian's Samuel Gibbs called it "a stunning generational leap," Wired gave it 9 out of 10, and Tom's Guide's Jane McGuire called it "the screenless tracker to beat," while asking Oura for a trade-in program.12, 15, 17

Is the Oura Ring Worth It?

Yes, if sleep and recovery are what you want to track, you'd rather not wear a watch to bed, and you'll pay $69.99 a year for as long as you wear it. No, if you mainly want workout data or won't pay for the membership, because the ring alone shows only three daily scores.2

The membership is the part people underestimate, so here's the full bill for an Oura Ring 5 next to a Ring 4 at Oura's current sale price.

What does an Oura Ring 5 cost over 1 to 3 years?

Ring and price paid (Oura store)Day oneAfter 1 yearAfter 2 yearsAfter 3 years
Oura Ring 5, Silver or Black ($399)$399$469$539$609
Oura Ring 5, Gold, Deep Rose, Stealth or Brushed Silver ($499)$499$569$639$709
Oura Ring 5, Silver or Black, with a 10% referral link ($359.10)$359.10$429$499$569
Oura Ring 4, Silver or Stealth, on sale ($244.30)$244.30$314$384$454

How we calculated it: Oura store price on October 3, 2026, plus $69.99 a year, first billed when the included month ends, so three annual payments by the end of year three ($399 + 3 × $69.99 = $608.97 for the Silver or Black ring). Paying monthly comes out about the same: 35 payments of $5.99 after the included month total $209.65, against $209.97 for three annual payments. Tax, a charging case and extended warranties aren't included. Spread over 36 months, a $399 Ring 5 with membership works out to about $17 a month.1, 2, 20

There are two real discounts on the Ring 5. A current member's referral link takes 10% off on Oura's store, and verified healthcare workers get 30% off through ID.me until November 20, 2026. Oura doesn't offer trade-ins, and you can pay for the membership with an HSA or FSA card.2, 20, 21 Our Oura Ring Black Friday guide tracks whether the Ring 5 gets a holiday price.

What do you get without the membership?

Without it, the ring still logs data, but Heart Health, Health Radar, detailed sleep and 24/7 heart rate stay locked. Cancel and your data stays in your account; you can export it as a CSV file.2, 3, 22

Five questions to answer before you buy

  1. Will you wear it to bed every night? Sleep is where the ring earns its price.
  2. Is $69.99 a year fine for as long as you own it?
  3. Did the Ring 5 sizing kit put you somewhere between 6 and 13?
  4. Can you live without live heart rate during workouts, or do you already have a watch or chest strap for that?
  5. Are you buying your first Oura, or replacing a Gen3 or older?

Five yeses: buy it. A no on question 2 points you to our best smart rings with no subscription. If the Ultrahuman Ring PRO is on your shortlist, our Ultrahuman Ring PRO review runs its $479 one-time price against the Ring 5's three-year cost. A no on 3: the Oura Ring 4 still comes in sizes 4 to 15, and the RingConn Gen 3 runs to size 15 with no membership;7 see Oura Ring 5 vs RingConn Gen 3. A no on 4: a screenless fitness tracker on the wrist or a sports watch will serve you better. A no on 5 means you already own a Ring 4, which the next section covers.

Should You Upgrade From the Oura Ring 4 to the Oura Ring 5?

Probably not. Health Radar, Blood Pressure Signals, live workouts and the rest of the software Oura launched with the Ring 5 also run on the Ring 4, so an upgrade mostly buys a smaller ring and a bit more battery. Oura rates the Ring 5 a day longer, and reviewers who compared it with a Ring 4 saw anywhere from about half a day (ZDNET) to two or three days (The Guardian, CNET).3, 8, 14, 15, 16

Most reviewers who have used both say wait. Wired's would "probably wait another generation," NBC Select says Ring 4 owners shouldn't feel the need to upgrade right away, CNET's comparison calls it probably not worth it for now, and Tom's Guide's reviewer says the Ring 5 wouldn't be worth the splurge right after buying a Ring 4.12, 16, 17, 19 ZDNET's Nina Raemont is the exception, calling the Ring 5 a worthy upgrade from the Ring 4, mostly for the thinner design.14 Three situations change the math:

Buying your first Oura and don't mind a wider band? The Ring 4 at $244.30 on Oura's store (October 3, 2026) is the value pick, and CNET suggests it for anyone who prefers a more substantial ring.1, 9 The Amazon link below is the Oura Ring 4, starting on Black, size 9.

What Are the Oura Ring 5's Biggest Downsides?

Five come up again and again: a narrower size range that runs snug, a battery that will eventually wear out (covered above), sleep-stage estimates that are rougher than the app's neat charts suggest, weak workout tracking, and a membership you can't really skip. People who quit Oura usually name the membership, battery fade or fit.11

Sizing runs 6 to 13, and it runs snug

The Ring 5 drops sizes 4, 5, 14 and 15, and Oura says its sizing differs slightly from the Ring 4's, so even longtime owners should use the Ring 5 kit.4, 7 CNET's comparison found the Ring 5 "leans slightly tighter" and suggests sizing up if your Ring 4 already fits snug; a Tom's Guide colleague went up a size, and so did several r/ouraring owners, while others stayed put.11, 16, 17 Wear the sizer for a full 24 hours, including a night, before you order. On Oura's store you can choose the free sizing kit and get the ring after you confirm your size; on Amazon the Ring 5 sizing kit (sizes 6 to 13) is its own listing, linked below.6 Our Oura Ring 5 sizing guide walks through it.

How accurate is Oura's sleep staging?

It's good at telling sleep from wake and less reliable at splitting sleep into light, deep and REM, and none of the published studies we found used a Ring 5. The "95% sleep staging accuracy" on Oura's store refers to two-stage scoring, sleep versus wake; Oura's own researchers reported 79% accuracy for four stages in 2021, using second-generation rings.6, 23

The best-known lab study, from Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2024, found an Oura Gen3's stage estimates didn't differ significantly from polysomnography in 35 healthy adults. Oura funded that study, and the lead author sits on Oura's medical advisory board.24 An independent 2026 study from the University of Massachusetts, funded by the NIH with no financial disclosures, found the same Gen3 ring close on total sleep in young adults but well off on deep sleep in both age groups: it overestimated deep sleep by about 81 minutes in adults aged 19 to 24 and about 72 minutes in adults aged 56 to 80. In the older group it also underestimated total sleep by about 75 minutes. That was one night of at-home testing in 32 people.25 DC Rainmaker's advice fits the evidence: pay attention to total sleep, sleep debt and consistency, and don't read too much into the deep and REM bars.5

Workout tracking is still the weak spot

Oura added Live Activity and support for Bluetooth heart rate straps alongside the Ring 5, and reviewers still found it basic. During a run, DC Rainmaker's screen showed only pace, distance and time unless a strap was paired; the workouts Oura sent to Strava had no heart rate data; and the ring put Maker's VO2 max at 38, against the 56 to 58 that other devices report. NBC Select's automatically detected bike rides came back with botched GPS data.5, 19 Wired and The Guardian describe heart rate on the phone during a Live Activity, so results seem to vary.12, 15 Wired's reviewer liked the new lock-screen workout widgets and found automatic workout detection more reliable, so it is getting better.12 If you lift, CNET found the slimmer ring knocks against barbells less than the Ring 4 did.9

What is the Surber v. Oura lawsuit about?

It's a proposed class action over Oura's sleep-tracking accuracy claims. Surber v. Oura (No. 3:26-cv-08686, N.D. Cal.), filed August 20, 2026, alleges Oura marketed 79% and then 95% sleep-staging accuracy in a misleading way. Oura disputes the claims and says its sleep staging has been "validated and compared favorably in multiple studies against polysomnography."26, 27 Oura moved to compel arbitration on September 10, and there was no ruling on that motion or on class certification when we last checked the docket, on October 2, 2026.27 Nothing in the case has been decided. Our look at why people are ditching Oura rings covers the other reasons owners leave, and its lawsuit section follows right after.

Where Should You Buy the Oura Ring 5, and Which Finish?

Buy from Oura's store if you want the free sizing kit, a referral or ID.me discount, or Oura's 30-day return policy; buy on Amazon if you already know your Ring 5 size and want it on your Amazon account.1, 20, 21 Silver and Black cost $399; Gold, Deep Rose, Stealth and Brushed Silver cost $499, with the same ring inside. Deep Rose is new and more copper than the old rose gold, and the Gold is a lighter shade than the Ring 4's.1, 3, 16

Oura Ring 5 Review FAQ

How long does the Oura Ring 5 battery last?

Oura claims 6 to 9 days on a new ring, depending on size, and The Guardian puts the smallest sizes at the low end. Reviewers measured about six days on a size 6, six to seven days on a size 10 with daily workouts, and just under eight days on a size 8. A full charge takes about 80 minutes.4, 5, 13, 14, 15

Is the Oura Ring 5 better than the Oura Ring 4?

It's smaller and more comfortable: 6.09 mm wide against 7.9 mm, from 2 grams against 3.3 to 5.2, with about a day more claimed battery and a tougher coating. The app and features are the same, and the Ring 4 stores a week of data to the Ring 5's three days.4, 6

Can you use the Oura Ring 5 without a membership?

Barely. Without Oura's $5.99-a-month or $69.99-a-year membership, the app shows your Readiness, Activity and Sleep scores, battery, profile, settings and Explore content. Detailed sleep, heart rate, SpO2, cycle insights and Health Radar need a membership. New members get the first month included.2, 3

Does the Oura Ring 5 measure blood pressure?

No, it doesn't give you a blood pressure reading. Blood Pressure Signals, for members in the US, India and the UAE, looks for patterns in nighttime data over 30-day periods and only notifies you if it spots one; it needs 15 nights of data for a baseline. Nighttime BP shows overnight dipping trends, not mmHg values.22

What colors does the Oura Ring 5 come in?

Six: Silver and Black at $399, and Gold, Deep Rose, Stealth and Brushed Silver at $499 on Oura's store (October 3, 2026). All six are titanium with the same superhard PVD coating and the same sensors. Deep Rose is new for the Ring 5.1, 4

Is the Oura Ring 5 the same size as the Oura Ring 4?

Not always. Oura says Ring 5 sizing differs slightly, and the range shrinks to 6 to 13. Reviewers and owners often find the Ring 5 snugger at the same number, and some sized up. Wear the Ring 5 sizing kit for 24 hours before you order.4, 11, 16

Is the Oura Ring 5 waterproof?

Oura rates it water resistant to 100 meters with an IP68 rating and says it's suitable for sauna and water sports but not diving. The Ring 4 carries the same 100-meter rating, so swimming and showering with either ring is fine.3, 4, 7

What do doctors say about the Oura Ring?

Sleep researchers who have tested it say it tells sleep from wake well but is less reliable for individual sleep stages, especially in older adults. Oura itself says features like Nighttime BP don't replace blood pressure monitoring or medical care, so treat an alert as a prompt to talk to a doctor.22, 24, 25

  10. Oura: Inside the Ring: Building Oura Ring 5 (The Pulse blog). Fewer optical paths because of the smaller size, more powerful LEDs and 12 signal pathways; sensor domes slightly higher than on Oura Ring 4 (0.7 mm vs 0.3 mm); Oura's figures of 12% more accurate overnight HRV than Oura Ring 4 for the average member and a 19% increase in workout heart rate accuracy for running, cycling and walking; extra-strong PVD coating.

(May 30, replies through August 29: snugger fit, sizing up, taller sensor domes); Is the Oura Ring 5 worth it? (September 1, replies through September 29: sleep praised, activity detection errors, price and membership as reasons to return or stop upgrading).
  12. WIRED: Oura Ring 5 Review (Boutayna Chokrane, July 14, 2026), rated 9/10 by WIRED. Fewer hairline marks than the reviewer's Ring 4; resting heart rate, HRV and activity data closely matched the Ring 4; Charging Case at $99 holding roughly five full charges; Live Activity lock-screen widgets showing pace, distance and heart rate, and more reliable automatic activity detection; sleep data "some of the most believable" the reviewer has seen; Symptom Radar flagged the flu about a day after the reviewer realized it; "Subscription still feels mandatory"; multiple rings on one account without another membership; for Ring 4 owners, "I'd probably wait another generation."
  13. Oura Support: Oura Ring Battery Tips (updated September 21, 2026). Oura Ring 5 typically lasts 6 to 9 days and Oura Ring 4 5 to 8 days; the ranges are for new rings, and rechargeable batteries are consumables whose capacity declines over time; battery life depends on ring size, settings, features, activity and battery age; batteries perform best at 25% to 80%; charge to at least 30% before bed or you get no Sleep or Readiness Score; don't leave the ring on the charger for more than a week.
  14. ZDNET, syndicated on Yahoo Tech: I wore the Oura Ring 5 for a month, and two big upgrades make it so much better than the 4 (Nina Raemont, July 2, 2026). A size 6 Ring 5 lasted about six days and a few hours on its first charge, against about five and a half days for the reviewer's Ring 4; battery life depends heavily on ring size; a "worthy upgrade" from the Ring 4, mainly for the thinner design. We read the Yahoo copy.
  15. The Guardian: Oura Ring 5 review: a stunning generational leap for smart rings (Samuel Gibbs, June 30, 2026). Battery of about six days for the smallest size rising to nine for the largest; the size 8 tested lasted just shy of eight days, about two days longer than the equivalent Ring 4; not repairable and the battery isn't replaceable, which cost it a star; workout tracking weak without a phone, though the Live activity feature shows real-time heart rate on your phone.
  16. CNET: Oura Ring 5 vs. Oura Ring 4: New Features Explained and if You Should Upgrade (Nasha Addarich Martínez, July 11, 2026). Ring 4 lasted about four days for the reviewer; Ring 5 about a week, losing roughly 15% a day; Charging Case sold separately for $99; the Ring 5 "leans slightly tighter" at the same size, so size up if your Ring 4 fits snug; Deep Rose is new and more copper than the old rose gold, and the Gold is less orange; Health Radar, blood pressure and live activity tracking also run on the Ring 4, so upgrading from a Ring 4 is "probably not worth" it for now.
  17. Tom's Guide: Oura Ring 5 review (Jane McGuire, June 4, 2026, updated July 16, 2026). "The screenless tracker to beat"; size 7 in both rings, while a colleague went up a size; charged about once a week over a month of testing; Charging Case at $99 holding up to five charges; not enough to justify replacing a just-bought Ring 4; a request for a trade-in service.
  18. TechCrunch: Oura unveils its Ring 5 with a thinner, lighter design starting at $399 (Aisha Malik, May 28, 2026). Pre-orders from May 28, shipping June 4, 2026; 6 to 9 days of battery against 5 to 8 on the Ring 4.
  19. NBC Select: Oura Ring 5 review (Harry Rabinowitz, July 20, 2026). The best smart ring you can buy; more comfortable than the Ring 4 and easy to forget; sleep interruptions logged more accurately than on an Apple Watch Series 11 and Fitbit Air; automatic tracking botched GPS data on outdoor rides; Ring 4 owners shouldn't feel the need to upgrade right away.
  20. Oura Support: Refer a Friend Program (updated May 29, 2026). A member's link gives up to 10 people 10% off any Oura Ring 5 or Oura Ring 4 on Oura's online store only; members can use it themselves; Oura doesn't currently offer a trade-in program.

  22. Oura Support: Heart Health Hub (updated August 12, 2026). Gen3 or later with an active membership; Blood Pressure Signals, Cuff Readings and Nighttime BP for members in the US, India and the UAE; Blood Pressure Signals looks at nighttime patterns over 30-day periods, notifies you only if a pattern is detected and needs at least 15 of the past 30 nights for a baseline; Nighttime BP shows dipping patterns without mmHg values and "doesn't replace blood pressure monitoring or care."
  23. Altini M, Kinnunen H. The Promise of Sleep: A Multi-Sensor Approach for Accurate Sleep Stage Detection Using the Oura Ring. Oura Ring Gen3, Fitbit Sense 2 and Apple Watch Series 8 against polysomnography in 35 adults for one night; the Oura ring's wake, light, deep and REM estimates weren't different from polysomnography. SLEEP Advances 2026;7(1):zpag006 (published January 12, 2026). University of Massachusetts Amherst; Oura Ring Gen3, Fitbit Sense 2 and two nearables against at-home polysomnography for one night in 13 young and 19 older adults; the Oura overestimated deep sleep by 81.0 minutes in young adults and 71.5 minutes in older adults, and in older adults underestimated total sleep time by 75.5 minutes. Supported by NIH grant P30 AG073107; financial disclosure: none.
  26. TechCrunch: Oura faces lawsuit accusing it of misleading consumers about sleep tracking accuracy (Aisha Malik, August 21, 2026). Proposed class action by Clarkson Law Firm over Oura's 79% and 95% sleep-staging accuracy claims; Oura's statement that "Oura's sleep staging has been validated and compared favorably in multiple studies against polysomnography, the gold standard."
  27. PacerMonitor: Surber v. Oura, Inc. et al., No. 3:26-cv-08686, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, filed August 20, 2026; defendants' motion to compel arbitration filed September 10, 2026; briefing schedule order of September 21; no ruling on the motion or on class certification. Checked October 2, 2026.

Two things people weighing an Oura Ring 5 end up buying alongside it, or instead of it:
Clear TPU sleeve fitted over a gold Oura Ring 5, with two spare sleeves and a second ring on its charger
Clear Oura Ring 5 Cover (3-pack)
If the ring is going to live on your hand at the gym, a clear sleeve keeps scratches off the titanium. It covers the outside only, so the sensors still touch your skin, and it's sold by Ring 5 size. Our Oura Ring 5 covers guide compares the options.
