One thing changed since August: coverage is symmetrical now — every color is listed in both sizes, so the old "Black only comes in L/XL" problem is gone. Whichever band you pick, check that the Amazon seller is Garmin or Amazon itself, and look at Garmin's own store as well. At launch, DC Rainmaker listed it at $59, or $209 for the Cirqa pod with the arm band in place of the wristband on Garmin's site; when we checked on October 3, Garmin's store showed no bundle and sold the arm band as a $59.99 add-on. What we couldn't find in August was that arm band sold as its own Amazon accessory — a part number an existing Cirqa owner could add to their cart the same way they'd order a replacement wristband. Every arm-band search that mentions Cirqa either turns up generic third-party arm bands built for other Garmin watches (Fenix, Vivoactive, and similar), which aren't sized or shaped for the Cirqa pod, or it turns up nothing Cirqa-specific at all. Back then, the $59 figure looked like a bundle option at the point of buying the device — Cirqa-plus-arm-band as one SKU — rather than a standalone add-on. What Charging Cable Does the Cirqa Use?
Not plain USB-C, even though the far end of the cable is USB-C. The Cirqa pod charges through a proprietary 4-pin pogo connector — spring-loaded contact pins on a small charging clip that has to seat against matching contacts on the back of the pod. It's the same general approach Garmin uses on its watches, just scaled down. A full charge takes roughly 90 minutes, and double-tapping the pod flashes an LED battery status so you don't have to open the app to check.
We didn't find Garmin's own cable sold as a standalone Amazon accessory when we checked in August either, which means losing it is a real problem — there's no generic USB-C cable that will physically connect, because a normal cable has nothing for the pogo pins to land on.
